About StoneManor
StoneManor Homes was founded by John Tucker and Scott Sparks, industry veterans with more than 80 combined years of experience in regional and national homebuilding. That background shapes everything we do – from the thoughtfulness of our floor plan designs to the quality of our construction. We build homes across a wide price range, from the mid $300s to over $1 million, with a focus on flexible layouts, designer finishes and species genuinely tailored to how people live today.
We build homes that reflect the way people live today. The mission was clear: to make attainable design-forward homes that focused on thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and flexible living.
In select cases, yes. StoneManor Homes worlds with buyers who own land in the Greater Houston area and want a custom build. Contact our team to discuss your lot, the applicable floor plan series, and whether it’s a fit for our build-on-your-lot program.
Home Shopping
We build throughout the Greater Houston area, with communities currently active or coming soon in Houston (including The Heights and Spring Branch), El Lago, Katy, Roman Forest, Magnolia, Mont Belvieu, Montgomery and Rosharon. Each location is carefully chosen because it offers genuine value, strong surroundings and a real sense of place – whether that’s an established urban neighborhood or an emerging suburb.
Yes, we maintain a selection of completed and near-complete homes across our communities at any given time. These homes are available for a quick move-in and have already been professionally designed with curated finishes.
Coming Soon communities are in active development and not yet open for purchase. Joining the interest list for a Coming Soon community means you’ll be among the first to receive pricing, floor plan availability, and pre-sale information when we’re ready to launch. Interest list registration is free and carries no obligation.
The best first step is to explore our communities and floor plans to get a sense of what appeals to you. From there, contact our sales team and we will walk you through what is available, what is coming soon and how to join an interest list for a specific community. There is no pressure and no obligation.
You are not required to but you are welcome to. If you have a buyer’s agent, please inform us before your first visit to the community so that we can register them properly. Our on-site sales team represents StoneManor Homes, so having your own representative is always a good idea if you’d like independent guidance throughout the process. We recommend connecting with a lender early – ideally before you sign a contract – so you understand your budget and loan options early.
Pricing & Financing
New construction financing works differently from financing a resale home. Most buyers use a construction-to-permanent loan or secure conventional mortgage at the time of closing. We work with a network of preferred lenders who have experience financing new builds in the Houston market and can guide you through the process. We recommend connecting with a lender before you sign a contract so that you understand your budget and loan options early.
Yes. A good faith deposit is required at the time of contract execution to secure your home and lock in pricing The specific deposit amount varies by community and home price. Your sales representative will provide the details as part of the purchase agreement review.
Closing costs on new construction typically include lender fees, title insurance, prepaid insurance and taxes, and various third-party charges. The total generally ranges from 2 – 5 percent of the purchase price though this varies based on your load type, lender, and the terms of your contract. We recommend requesting a Loan Estimate from your lender early in the process so there are no surprises at closing.
Construction & Design
Build times vary per floor plan, series and the stage of construction at the time of purchase. Many of our homes are in progress or move-in ready at the time of sale, which can significantly shorten your wait. For ground-up builds timelines typically range from four to nine months. Your sales representative will provide a specific estimated completion window for your home.
Warranty & Service
Every StoneManor home comes with a comprehensive multi-tier warranty: a one-year warranty covering workmanship and materials, a two-year warranty covering mechanical systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, and a 10-year structural warranty administered by StucSure Home Warranty. The structural warranty is insurance-backed and transferable to new owners if you sell your home during the coverage period.
Warranty service requests are submitted through the homeowner portal at myhome.hyphnsoutions.com. Log in with the credentials provided at closing, describe the issue, and our team will follow up to schedule an assessment. For urgent or emergency issues, contact us directly at 832-321-7284
Yes. The 10-year structural warranty through StucSure is fully transferable to a subsequent buyer within the coverage period. This can be a meaningful selling point if you choose to resell. The one- and two-year workmanship and systems warranties are tied to the original close date and are not transferable.
